Work History
Software Engineer Lead
- Led frontend development at CBCI Bayad Center — planning task execution, assigning work across the team, and documenting end-to-end technical processes.
- Dev Lead at Sun Life for a migration of legacy Java systems from on-premises to AWS Cloud — overseeing architectural design, planning the migration path, and validating all functionality post-migration.
Senior Software Engineer
- Assigned to CBCI Bayad Center — built vendor systems integrating in-house APIs across transactional, admin, and user management platforms, replacing legacy infrastructure.
- Served as the primary frontend engineer on the project, collaborating closely with back-end and product teams.
Junior Web Developer
- Delivered full-stack websites from client specs within an Agile team — breaking down tasks, estimating effort, and shipping iteratively.
- Continuously levelled up in React, AWS, and PHP frameworks to stay current with the stack.
Web Developer Intern
- Maintained internal systems including seat assignment tooling and fixed UI/UX bugs across the codebase.
- Developed a backup module for an inventory system that stored PDF files to both the server and database.

About
Hey! I'm Daryll — a software engineer with 7+ years of experience building web and mobile products. I'm based in Pasig, Metro Manila, and currently working as a Software Engineer Lead at MDI Novare.
I hold a BS in Computer Science from STI College Ortigas-Cainta. My dad got me into computers early and I never looked back — I'm genuinely excited by the craft of software: clean code, good architecture, and products that actually work well for people.
Outside of the day job, I volunteer as a full-stack developer for Transform Lit, enjoy building PCs, and spend time with my family.
